You don't have to hunt for gems, but there will be lots of things hidden to help you solve puzzles, play against others, and help make your game go faster. This time around there are other random items to find: not just resources to help you build and go to war, but things for your hero, speed-ups and other fun stuff. Yes, they are in quest locations and caves. If it doesn't happen after a reasonable wait, then report it as a bug. That's because the server may be slow and is taking a while to respond, or your internet connection is being slow. Sometimes I do something in the game and it doesn't update or does, but not automatically. It could be a minute, it could be several hours. It just means that Enkord are busy updating things (or the power is out) and you'll just have to wait until the server is back online. It says there's no connection to the server. Ignore the warning, or add an exception to your antivirus program. You don't necessarily need to disable antivirus, and the game isn't (necessarily) infected. I get an antivirus warning when installing the game. Section 4: Culture, building and expansion. Section 2: Exploration, discovering items. Section 1: Basic info about installing and running the game. Unfortunately, there's no way to easily link to the headings, so you'll just have to scroll.
